Snookie Lane. Why Snookie Lane?
Well, for a time, after I graduated from college I lived on Tybee Island Georgia. I had no purpose. For five years I had been working on my fine arts degree with a concentration in computer animation. I didn’t want to animate. I didn’t want to realize other people’s ideas. I wanted to write and when I had time I would walk the hundred yards to the beach, sit on the sand in the cold February wind, and scribble in an old black and white composition pad. Nothing that I wrote on that beach ever came to fruition, but there was one line I wrote, it was just an idea, and it read “a road called Snookie Lane”. I may write Snookie Lane one day. It was a book about redemption, about a wayward son returning home. Maybe in a few years, but for now I will write a different kind of Snookie Lane. Enjoy.
